The BDA Dental Museum is the place to find out about the history of dental care in the UK. The BDA aims to selectively develop, preserve and interpret collections relating to the social history, practice and professional development of dentistry in the UK. They have 30,000 objects and images which tell the story of how dentistry has developed from a marketplace spectacle to the complex procedures and treatments of today.
The museum is maintained by the BDA as a national resource for the dental profession, dental industry, researchers and members of the public - in fact anybody with an interest in the development and future of dentistry.
